a) The company may or may not be incorporated in India. It may just have a business presence for operations in India (or planning to enter the Indian market).
b) The date of incorporation should be on or after 1st January, 2010.
c) The startup should not be a part (eg. a subsidiary or a joint venture) of another organization that was incorporated before 1st January, 2010.
d) Only a working product demo will be allowed (no presentation slides or videos).
e) The product must be related to the fintech sector.
f) The product may or may not be live yet. Alpha or beta stage products may also apply.
a) There is no fee for submitting the nomination for IFTA 2018.
b) After the initial entry submission, India FinTech Forum will research the startups using data from publicly available sources as well as some proprietary fintech databases available with our partners. After this first phase of shortlisting, selected startups will receive an email with a link to submit additional details.
c) In the second phase, our partners will help to shortlist the startups. The startups selected after the second phase will demo their product in Mumbai on 30th November, 2018 in front of our esteemed panel of judges.
d) Shortlisted startups (after the second phase of selection) shall be notified via email around mid October, 2018.
e) Application processing fee of Rs. 7,800 shall be payable by these shortlisted startups within 7 days of being notified.
f) This application processing fee provides two entry tickets (worth Rs. 17,800) at no additional cost. The tickets include access to the full day event with breakfast, lunch and entry to cocktail networking session.
g) The tickets cannot be canceled and are non-refundable. However the tickets can be transferred till 28th November, 2018.
h) Non-receipt of application processing fee within the 7-day period shall indicate that the shortlisted startup has regretted the invitation to participate.
i) The winner of IFTA shall also get the awards trophy.
j) No other benefit is being offered as part of this startup registration and evaluation process.
k) The decision of India FinTech Forum on the shortlisting process shall remain final and binding.
